Full disclosure regarding my review: I have owned this item for just over a week, during which time I spent three days driving on the beach at Fraser Island. I got home to find a great deal of paint had come off the bar which will now require some sort of refinishing or powder coating in order to prevent it from rusting. Whilst I hardly expect a company to warrant use in harsh conditions, the paint has come away so quickly that it clearly was not prepped or finished properly to begin with. There are no signs of metal primer, just appears to be a very thin coat of black paint over the top of blue box steel (not powder coated as one would generally expect). Functionally, the design and pricing is good, as long as you're happy with a rusty eye-sore on the back of your truck.
